ICC or the International Cricket Council has finally announced the warm up matches series for the upcoming Cricket World Cup 2015 tournament. All the matches 14 warm up matches will co hosted by Australia and New Zealand together.
To be played between 8th to 13th February all the matches will be played at Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne and Christchurch cricket stadiums.
Interestingly in the first warm up match the reigning champions India will lock horns with the 4 time world champions Australia. With the recent loss of the Aussie batsman Hughes it will be an emotional affair for the players to play without him. Nevertheless the warm up matches will be very important for teams.
There will not be any charge for the audience to see the warm up matches and details of the free tickets will be made available soon by the organizers.
As the warm up matches are not the formal ODIs the rule is different for these matches. A team can use 15 players in the game with 11 players allowed on the field. This may not be as hot affair as the real matches but for teams it will be a chance to test their performance and strengths brining up their claws clearly.Cricket World Cup 2015 Warm Up Matches ScheduleCricket World Cup 2015 Warm Up Matches Schedule
